This Is Hell bald wieder im Studio

Bei This Is Hell aus New York war in letzter zeit viel los.

On July 28th, Think Fast! Records will be releasing the yet to be titled new 7"/Digital Download for Long Island touring machine, This Is Hell.

Think Fast! Records co-owner Ryan O'Connor comments "2009 has been a very busy year for the label, and I couldn't be more psyched to add a one-off for This Hell in the mix. They're really hard workers and have been close friends of mine for a number of years, so it makes perfect sense for us to team up for this release. Plus, I have to admit, I'm pretty impressed with Rick's endless knowledge of Professional Wrestling."

This Is Hell has made a name for themselves in the hardcore/metal scene with their undeniable work ethic. The band has logged countless miles across the world, notably supporting hardcore, punk, and metal bands alike; Strike Anywhere, Comeback Kid, and Glassjaw to name a few.

When asked about the new material, This Is Hell guitarist Rick Jimenez said "people can expect the same energy and intensity any This is Hell release has had, with some new elements. Some of the new stuff we've been working on is a bit more metal influenced than before...old Metallica & Anthrax, Cro-Mags & Leeway...almost crossover-ish stuff. Playing with and incorporating those new elements has been so much fun and has reinvigorated me on writing and releasing a new record, so we'll be putting some of that onto the EP. A surprise cover or two may surface as well."

In early June, the band will be hitting The Outpost with Jim Siegel (Blood For Blood, Dropkick Murphys, Have Heart). Shortly thereafter, expect to hear pre-order information, as well as a preview of the new record!
